In 2021 I purchased this 7,200sf commercial property in Amesbury Massachusetts. Originally built in
1875 for Frederick B. Keene’s paint and hardware store aptly named F.B. Keene.
After decades of neglect, I took on the major renovations needed to bring the building back to life. Assuming the role of architect, general contractor, project manager, and skilled and unskilled laborer, I spent the better part of a year fully gutting and rebuilding. I took great care to maintain as much of the original character as possible.
The work I have completed will help preserve the building’s role in the history of the town. F.B. KEENE will play host to gallery shows, pop-ups, dinner series, and more.
See a small sampling of photo’s to take you through the project.
